Summer has passed and we’ve had several events that have influenced some of the ways we rank providers at Texas Electricity Ratings, including rate changes as well as the releasing of the latest JD Power & Associates survey of Texas electricity providers, among others. And surprisingly enough, we actually have a tie at the top. The last time this happened, the tie went to Alphabetical Order, with Bounce Energy getting the nod over Champion Energy. As a result, this time we’ll be reversing that trend and going in reverse alphabetical order with Champion Energy getting the nod over Bounce Energy. These two have been slugging it out for the top spot for almost as long a I’ve been doing this website, but that isn’t much of a surprise considering the were the only two providers in Texas to receive the highest rating given for electricity providers. It would seem that the reviews submitted to this website match up pretty closely with what people tell JD Power & Associates, which is fantastic news for people who rely on this website to be an accurate snapshot of the Texas electricity market.
