The TNMP region is made up by a huge bubble of service in west Texas, as well as a handful of smaller pockets all over the state. However, all the pockets have the same electric rates. The electricity prices for TNMP are actually fairly low, almost as low as Houston. Month to month electric rates rates start as low as 6.5 cents per kWh. There’s still plenty of opportunity to save money on any of the most popular plans, including fixed rate electricity plans and green energy plans.
