Cirro's Smart Value 24 plan is a bill credit plan in search for a customer demographic. Except for the 1,000 kWh to 2,000 kWh usage tier, the energy charge and rates are very high. And even with the bill credit, the rates aren't any better than other Cirro plans with flat usage tier energy charges. In short, if you don't get the bill credit every month of the year, which is HARD to do for most people, there is a lot that can go wrong with Cirro's plan and not a whole lot that can go right. For most people, this plan doesn't make a ton of sense.

Who should buy this plan

Cirro Energy's Smart Value 24 plan is a very specific bill credit plan, where the rate is only remotely compeitive within the usage window between 1,000 kWh and under 2,000 kWh. And even then, that rate is just the same rate available from other Cirro plans at that usage. Expect the lower and higher end usage tiers are much more expensive. In short, this plan is only "good" for people who consistently use between 1k and 2k of energy, every month without fail. Maybe small homeowners with a heated pool. Other plans from Cirro seem like safer propositions.

Cirro's Smart Value 24 is a two year, or 24 month, fixed rate electricity plan with a $30 bill credit for using between 1,000 kWh hour and 2,000 kWh of electricity in a given month. If customers use less or more than that window, they do no recieve the bill credit. The plan has no monthly recurring charge, and the early termination fee is $295. The percent of green energy is 24%.
