This is a good, predictable plan, if you can qualify. It has similar kWh rates across the different usage thresholds, which means no big bill shock if a customer uses 950 kWn one month and 1050 kWh the next month. The Energy Charge is also pretty competitive, and the overall bills for customers should be pretty low. Of course, Rhythm often requires customers to have excellent credit, so qualifying without a deposit might be difficult.

Who should buy this plan

If you qualify for this plan, it's a good plan. The rates are good, the flat kWh rates mean no bill surprises, and no monthly base charges are all positives. The question here will be whether you can get this plan, as opposed to should you get this plan. This plan will be consistent for apartment dwellers, small home owners, and large home owners alike.

This is a standard flat electricity plan, where the kWh rates are pretty close across the usage thresholds of 500, 1000, and 2000 for monthly usage. That means not a lot of bill fluctuations. What you see is what you get. Additionally, like all Rhythm's plans, it is 100% renewable energy. There is no monthly base or recurring charge. Cancellation Fees are $20 for every month remaining on the contract. The term is for 36 months, or three years, which means you're no risking any market pricing volatility for awhile, which can be extremely valuable.
