Our Review

This plan is good for a very specific segment of customer, namely those that qualify for the bill credit but don't use that much energy more than the bill credit. Otherwise the high energy charge will bite customers on the low and high end of the energy consumption spectrum. If you can be sure you control your usage and hit the window every month, this is a good plan for you. Probably someone with a medium sized home, but doesn't have a pool.

Who should buy this plan

Grid Edge 12 is a good plan for people who consistently use over 1,000 kWh of usage in a given month, because at over that usage they get a $90 bill credit. And if they don't get that bill credit, the rates are sky high. So people with medium size homes, but not TOO large. Folks with pools and palaces will use too much energy for that bill credit to help too much. The sweet spot feels like medium sized home owners. Also like all Chariot products, this is 100% green energy, so it's good for the environmentally conscious.
