Cirro's Smart Nights 12 is a predictable plan, with identical usage across all tiers, which is actually rare in Texas. This makes it very easy to predict your monthly bill with a high level of precision. It's also a Time Of Use plan with a discount for using electricity during a nightly window, but to be honest the energy charge discount is one of the smallest I've ever seen. Usually the window is free energy, but this is just a 20% discount. So what this plan claims to, it doesn't do great. But what it is great at is being extremely predictable to customers.

Cirro's Smart Nights 12 plan is a great plan for people who want to say they have a night time of use plan, without any of the actual benefits of a night time of use plan. As a time of use plan, this is pretty poor. That being said, it has idential electric rates across all three usage tiers of 500, 1000, and 2000, which is actually rare. While the charges are kind of high, it actually would be the most predictable electricity plan on the market. So for anyone who REALLY wants to know exactly what their bill will be each month, this is a great plan.
