Relieant's Conservation 24 is a two year plan that encourages customers to use less energy. Customers often complain that electricity companies incent people to use more energy than less, and this plan actually gives those folks a legitimate choice to use less. The energy rates aren't all that great, but they're actually LOWER if users use less than 1,000 kWh of energy in a given month. The energy charge goes up when customers use more than 1k kWh, but not astronomically higher. Unlike most of Reliant's plans, this one does have a $5 a monthly recurring charge. As a 2 year plan it also has a $295 cancellation fee.

Who should buy this plan

Who should buy this plan? Honestly, this is a pretty good plan for folks in Apartments. The Energy charge is actually cheaper if you use less than 1,000 kWh a month. There honestly aren't many plans that are better for apartment users than home users, but this is one of them. This is also an excellent plan for environmentally conscious people who really do want to use less electricity each month.

Reliant's Conservation 24 is a 24 month, or two year, electricity plan. The Energy Charge is actually lower below the 1,000 kWh usage threshold for month. So the energy is cheaper if you use between 0-999 kWh in a given month. That Energy Charge goes up a bit when you start using over 1k in a given month. The plan has a $295 cancellation fee and a $5 a month base charge. It is 20% renewable energy.
