I've had several electric companies in the past 6 years, they all cheated me out of money. Of the 3 or 4 that I have had, this one is the best, their rates are low and have cut my electric bill in half. They are legit. I went from paying any where from $225.00-$250.00 per month on average to $143.00 per month and my usage has not changed. This month I had a credit. Now I know that the other ones were lying on the bill, the wattages were elevated and the rates were exagggeerated. Wish I had chosen Pulse power six years ago.

The company I would say is a good choice online billing & account information is a plus also they send a weekly consumption email if u sign up which is helpful. Now if u prefer customer service via phone it becomes a little bit of an issue due to the wait time to get an agent"if" u get one (sometime. Also given the circumstances with the virus and all if u need assistants payin the bill u can't get it through the normal places not sure u can get it other places either, not sure as to why but your on your own. In my experience other than those things generally it's a good company that needs to expand & find more ways of providing help.

I signed up for this on 6/29 and on 7/27 I got a bill for a whopping $132 at 15.4 kwh and not the 5.9cent KWH. Which is .10 cents per KWH higher than my previous provider TXU. I thought they charged the highest rate in Austin TX. Pulse Power just did a classic switch and bait, but it is also deceptive, because they bait you with 5.9 cent and a teeny-tiny clause "average price per kwh for 1000 kwh usage". I totally overlooked that, because I never in 65 years, based price on usage. I am 65 and the clause is deliberatlly too small and easily overlooked. It is like "Hey, 5.9cent!" and then whispering under your breath "if kwh is over 1000 usage,". What Luis the rep (great customer service) on the phone explained to me on 7/28/20, is that if I don't hit >= 1,000 kwh, then I am billed the highest rate 15.4. I only get the 5.9 cent rate if I GO OVER/EQUAL to 1000 kwh. Now I am contracted to them for a year.BUYER BEWARE. They grab you as the lowest rate, and in teeny-tiny print it reads 5.9 cent "average price per kwh for 1000 kwh usage". I am totally screwed.

We had enjoyed PulsePower as our electric provider for over a year with excellent service. Then, in July 2022, we moved into a new house. Since then our service has been awful. They tried to bill me for early termination of contract after the move. Took over an hour on the phone with a transfer to a supervisor required due to language barrier of service representative. Two months later, they stopped drafting my automatic payments and then cut my power off for non-payment with no notice of disconnection. I have been on hold now for an hour to speak to a supervisor? What happened to this company that is supposed to be Texas based. Customer service calls are answered by people whose middle eastern accent is so thick you cannot understand them (every call), and they can't understand me.

Pulse power is a electrical provider. During the texas snowstorm I lost electricity for 5 days. On the 2 nd day it came on for a few hours. ( the electricity)the rest of that time no electricity. I was charged as if I had electricity on the whole time. Just received another wrong bill from June 2021, they estimated my cost, to double what I use. I also didnt live at this address last year. My July bill was 61 dollars my June bill was 140. I am very conservative and leave my thermostat at 82 during the day. I dont leave things plugged in except refrigerator, oven washer dryer. I was also not home for 2 days. This is not a good service.

I haven't had any billing issues or auto-payment glitches thankfully.Except for... SIX days with no electricity. An actual message to PulsePower's customer service about no power on Feb 15, 2021 and they charged me for usage on Feb 15th. We lost pets due to the below freezing temps in our home and to have a report show we had power was a slap in the face. I sent a message to PulsePower only to be told "it is an average sent by ONCOR." so basically the blame game. I wasn't asking for a credit or any special treatment just acknowledgement that PulsePower knew we had no power and it was a mistake. Oh no that was too hard. So I let the CSR know I was not happy with the lack of empathy and sent the report I was using from our monthly bill to make my complaint.NATALIE had the nerve to respond telling me to sign up for smartmeter reports from smartmetertexas. I DID NOT ASK for how to determine a darn thing.I signed a 12 month contract knowing there was a chance the company I chose wasn't the right one for us. I will be moving providers the day the contract expires. To think, Cirro showed my parent empathy when ONCOR cut power for 24+ hours on a 100+ F degree day by removing charges on her Cirro bill that were from ONCOR and ONCOR even reimbursed her for lost groceries in the freezer.... SHAME ON PULSEPOWER! Absolutely no empathy training for the PulsePower reps. Not everyone wants a reimbursement or needs help with a late payment. Sometimes we just need a company to acknowledge a horrible thing happened and they care. I bet Natalie is terrified of reptiles and so her lack of emotion was more on par with YAY MORE REPTILES ARE DEAD! Who cares that it was painful and confusing for them.Okay done. and DONE WITH PulsePower.

In 10 years of average electric bills from other providers I have never ever had bills consistently from $150 to $200 over $300 us. Pulse consistently went over these. till the final bill hit almost $800. from the other complaints I see maybe it was in the fine print I did not understand. each month our usage remained the same as in previous years, yet each month the bills each went higher.

My only complaints choosing Pulse Power are the following (2):One, Auto Pay is not always reliable on Pulse Power Website, so you have to double check your billing accounts to make sure your payment was deducted and sent to Pulse Power. Two, I went with the Pulse Power $0.063 Plan, thinking I would benefit from it. However, my bill cost me way more then I expected due to the Delivery Charges of approximately $64.00 a Month. When I selected Pulse Power, I was expecting to pay an electric bill of approximately $120.00, to $150.00, max at 1800 KWHs per month, with all taxes and delivery charges included. I am paying $175.00, to $200.00 per month at 1700 KWHs, with all taxes and delivery charges included. My fault, I should have done more homework.

When I signed up I told him I only needed electricity for a month as I was visiting friends house. They told me to simply tell them I moved out and there would be no early termination fee. I was charged $220 termination fee for three weeks of usage. With other electric companies I was able to tell them my forwarding address and that was enough. Pulse power requires Difficult to provide Documentation for move out before they will return the early termination fee. And even after providing that it took me nine hours and threats to Report them to the AEP before they finally removed the ETF

New customer. Went to registration page on line and correct information rejected multiple times. Customer service rep talked so slow and was so dense she sounded high. Could barely hear for chatter in background. She didn't want to address whether their information they had was correct because any error was because I "made an entry error", although I had cut and pasted their information(!) from the bill. After several minutes of her talking about 6 words per minute we found, yes, they had put the wrong zip code in so I couldn't register with the correct information. No apology; no interest in fixing. Customer service that can only be described as "stupid".

I have solar panels and yet, i till have a monthly bill average of about $80 to $120. They are charging me a delivery charge every month. This was not disclosed when I agreed to a 36-month contract with them. When I called to ask about this delivery charge, I was not able to get a straight answer from anyone. Finally, they tell me it's in the fine print of my contract. Well, thanks a lot for that. Let's be honest here, who really reads the fine print? This is, by far, the worst company I have ever dealt with. Total ripp off. Avoid this company at all costs, or it will cost you in the end.

I only went to Pulse Power for their solar buy-back plans. There is no way to talk to anyone in the company unless you know their phone ext so you talk only to customer care in a foreign country. I spoke to someone in the beginning who assured me that I am to sign up for a reg plan now and then can switch to a solar buy-back plan once the my system is turned on. That was a month ago. My solar system was turned on and since you cant change any plans online, I called back in where I was told that I cannot switch from a fixed plan to a buy-back plan at all. I explained that I was initially assured otherwise and they said they could email a request to the corp office for permission and Id rcv an email in 3-5 business days. Again, I specifically went to this company because they are supposed to have 1to1 solar buy-back plans. I cant be transferred to anyone in corp no how many times I ask. I was told by 2 separate customer care associates that they no one at corp has phones! Im currently locked in a plan that doesnt give me any credit for the solar panels I paid to have on my roof and I need permission from corp to even see if I can get on the appropriate plan. Meanwhile, the electricity I am producing is going into the grid and to Pulse Power so they are rcvg FREE electricity from me and charging me for my usage.

Be very very careful and read the fine print. All of it. They are a bunch of scammers. I will be switching as soon as possible and dont recommend. I called to setup an account starting 3 weeks later. They told me to reply to their email with my domestic violence letter to wave the deposit. I did so 20min after getting the email. I never received the email to setup an online account or anything, so I called the day it was supposed to be active. They lost everything! Said my request for electricity expired (without any notice or anything) never received any of the 4 emails I sent them (actually had to send it over 60min Ed for them to get 1), said they didnt have another email I could try sending to. After 3 hours on the phone with them (3 different reps), they continued insisting they have no manager, supervisor or anybody else or other way to contact them. They also decided that any requests for power must be made no more than 10days in advance of the start date and thats why I couldnt get set up. And instead of sending a letter signed by my legal representation, they decided Id have to fill out a form providing information on the police report, officers badge and contact info, court case, judge and other information and documents (which most dont exist since we were able to settle outside of court) within those 10days (days, not even business days) for the activation of my electricity to be considered.

I had to go with a different company that was a lot cheaper anyway.

Dealing with Pulse Power has been a nightmare. Below is order of events if you care to read the horror story. For every call below I am on hold for a minimum of 30 min and each time I ask a question they put me on hold for 2 to 5 min to "check in the system".June 5 - I set up a new power account with a start of service date of June 9.June 9 - I move into my new house and there is not a meter installed, the rep I talked to said power would be on by the end of the day (did not happen). June 10 - I called back on Friday, same message from the Pulse power rep, I am skeptical, so I called Centerpoint to confirm. Centerpoint did not even have a work order from Pulse power to install a meter at my house. It is now close of business, so I do not have power at my house all weekend. June 11 - I get an email from Pulse Power saying they are setting up a new account (this is an error because I already have an account I set up on June 5). I cannot reach anyone because they are closed on Sat and SunJune 13 - I finally get a hold of someone at Pulse Power and they are unsure of what happened with the second account. Still no power at my house. June 14 - I call them again and turns out my account was cancelled "due to Competing Transaction" but they were unable to provide any details on how or why this happened. Note I did not receive any notice of the cancelation. Attached is email from the rep stating that my account is canceled and I owe $0June 15 - Centerpoint informs me Pulse Power is still the REP for this service address so I call Pulse again and get the email confirmation the once again my account is canceled and I owe $0. I now have multiple emails that I do not have an active account at Pulse Power and I owe them $0. So I call Reliant and they get my power started the same day. About a month goes by thinking all is good, until I get an email notifying me I have a bill on July 22.Several calls to Pulse Power and no one can seem to explain to me how a canceled account racks up a $196.15 bill in direct contradiction of the attached emails that I owe them $0. The rep I talked to "put in a ticket" but I have not heard back from them. I have emailed their customer support line and still nothing.

I came home one evening to discover I they had cut off my electricity. Always one to give the benefit of the doubt, I thought I was late with my payment. I paid immediately on the phone. When I got my electricity back, I discovered I HAD indeed payed my bill on time and sent proof. My power was off on April 11th. My bank cleared it on April 4th electronically. I sent proof. No answer. Sent proof SEVERAL times with no avail. It is now June and after 6-7 emails I still have not heard a word or gotten an email back. I have tried to enroll THREE times and wasted over 15 hours on HOLD. When I finally get to talk to someone they hang up, the connection is spotty and they talk with thick INDIAN accents. You'll start out as the 110th caller in line. You'll waste time calling because in an email they won't say anything other than "you need to call our customer service" while listening to some automated idiot claim you can enroll online. That's a sick joke. They lie and claim they tried to call you but won't tell you what number they called from. They'll claim they need more personal information than you need to give by law. They'll claim they can't find the account even when you confirm the service address and did I mention they're ESL? I literally have a lot of trouble understanding their horrible employees. Since it's so bad I will have to go with someone else. If I can't even get to talk to someone then how bad will billing issues be? To me the low prices will most likely be bait and switch. I'm looking elsewhere even if it is a bit pricier since I've seen so many bad reviews and can't even get an English speaking person on the phone. I have hearing aids and can't deal with this garbage service.

Despite being on auto payment, my lights where cut off. My wife and I both called. Waiting on hold for over an hour each. It was a Monday, and they were experiencing longer than usual call ins. The voice recording said, press 8 to hold your place in the call line, and get a call back from an associate. Neither my wife or I received a call back. After calling again, waiting on hold 2 hours, I finally reach a representative. They then Charged my card twice for the same payment. After staying on the line and seeing this in my bank account recordings, I demanded to speak to a manager. I was upset about the lack of call back (which they said would happen in the automated message), the double payment, and my lights being cut off despite being on auto payment. I was told that I would not receive my money back for 5-8 days. I was also told by the supervisor that during high volume of call ins meant that if you requested a call back, you wouldnt receive the call back until the next day. So they bold face lie about the press 8 to receive a call back by a representative and you will not lose your place in line. Now, I was not very polite to those I spoke to. I paid my past due amount over the phone with my payment information. The next morning I woke up to $600+ in fraudulent charges on the card I used to pay my bill. Coincidence? I think not.

Been extraordinarily happy with TES finding energy service providers for usvery happy until now that is. Pulse Power is the worst company they have recommended to us. I am cringing as I read similar reviews posted by others. Appears the level of incompetence with this one is strong either that or there is a deliberate method to the madness so customers get fleeced. Not at all happy. Reaching out to TES to complain about being saddled with this company. If they cant help us, maybe at least TES can refrain from recommending them to others saving them from frustration, headache, and questionable billing. Since only one month into a 3 year contract with these clowns, it will cost close to $800 to break the contract. And, in all honesty, the $800 loss might just be worth getting these a$$hats out of our hair. If youre unfortunate enough to have Pulse Power as your energy provider by choice or happenstance, make sure despite Pulse Power assuring with confirmation payments have been received that Pulse Power actually bothers to process the payment and there isnt some unexplained hick-up otherwise, Pulse Power will pile on additional fees. Honestly, can envision this as being a recurrent phenomenon with them. In our opinion, this is a extraordinarily crappy company that hides behind their internal policies to not investigate, not to address, not to find an equitable resolution, not to serve, and screw their customers. Very seldom write reviews. Pulse Power has earned every bit of this criticism.

I started my electricity service march 1 2021. I called around March 21 concerned because I was not receiving weekly usage reports. I spoke with a representative to calculate how much energy I needed to use the first month in order to receive the monthly bill credit of $95 for using 1,00 kWh. We researched my current usage and realized I was using the proper amount per week to reach this goal for my first month. The representative did not disclose that my first billing cycle would be a partial month. Since it was a partial month the billing cycle ended early, making our previous calculations irrelevant. Without the $95 credit my bill was $139.90. I called to speak with a manager named Henry who advised that the company was able to know that my billing cycle would not be a complete month and apologize for his agents lack of information and that I could have avoided this if I was given the correct information but refuses to credit my account due to this error. I am a diligent user but I cannot use the proper amount of energy without the proper and correct info. My contract is expires in 1 year and I will not renew with a company that will not take responsibility for their own mistakes when I am proactively trying to budget my usage and bill.

I just switched to Pulse Power. I was billed for about two weeks on the first bill that put me in the 500-999 KWH bracket (.15 / KWH). The change over date will make a difference in your first bill. Beware that if you switch providers close to the beginning of their billing cycle you will have to pay a higher rate. Not being able to have an adjusted billing to me is not customer friendly. I would have accepted being billed for a 45 day period in lieu of the 2 week period which thru me into a higher rate category. After calling customer service they refused to adjust the first months bill. This is the worst company that I have dealt with since de-regulation took place. I will gladly pay their cancellation fee to get a competitive rate from another company that I feel will be much more customer oriented.

Read this one... I was with my old company 4 years at 6.3 per kWh, but the hidden fees were too much. I switched to Pulse Power at the end of October for the Texas Saver 12 plan (12 months 6.3 per kWh no hidden charges). They put me on the wrong plan. I asked to be on the correct plan that I agreed too, they stated I should be better on the one I was on and try it for another cycle, if I did not like it I could change it back, per them I was under a 90 day period of time. After the second billing cycle I knew I wanted the other plan. Per our verbal agreement of contract for the Texas Saver plan; I was told no, you already switched plans. The only plan I switch as coming to Pulse Power. I canceled my service as per the Texas Saver plan it would $125.00 to cancel they charged me $340.00. In fact, they charged me $461.61 for two days of service and to cancel my plan... They mislead, out right lied, then took me.

So I switched to Pulse Power and my first bill was great. 2nd bill went up and after that they kept getting higher. So my power was cut off and I tried to call them and couldn't get into my account because I misplaced my info. I felt I had no choice but to switch providers. After I switched providers I found my information and was able to log into my account to review. I could not see my final bill and so I decided to wait for my final bill from Pulse so that I could go in and make arrangements since I knew there would be a cancellation fee attached to it. They went in and pulled money out of my account without my authorization. I called them today 1/6/21 and they said that I requested AUTO PAY to be put in place through the portal which I know I did not request that because I have never ever done AUTO PAY. It makes me wonder if there is a default when you go in to review your account that will set it up automatically when you review or look at your account. I will never recommend Pulse to anyone as they are too expensive and this last reason. I have not logged into my account since Mid December .. They say I authorized this auto pay payment on 1/6/21

Worst experience I have ever had with an electricity provider. My bill was double the highest amount I have ever paid, and they rudely explained that this was due to an increase in charges from TDU -- twice. I can only determine that the TDU charge was an additional charge that other electricity providers include in their monthly usage rate. Their "transparent" charges were not transparent.I went ahead and paid the $125 to get out of the contract early because with their rates that was a bargain, but they never processed my final bill via ACH, and I never received a late notice. I contacted customer service again, and they told me my account was paid in full, and I should check with my bank to find out why I wasn't debited. My bank showed no activity. Turns out they billed a non-existent account, which they didn't figure out until I contacted them AGAIN to get it cleared up. "We recommend you pay by credit card." In the meantime, they removed the auto-draft discount. I still haven't received a final bill, just the ACH notice... but I went ahead and proactively made payment with late fees and no auto-pay discount. All told, I paid over $1000 for 6 weeks of electricity service. Brilliant.

Two months later, they stopped drafting my automatic payments and then cut my power off for non-payment with no notice of disconnection. I have been on hold now for an hour to speak to a supervisor?

I waiting on hold for an hour, only to be "transferred" to a supervisor and waiting now another half hour. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME.

Brilliant.

I signed up through a 3rd party website, with an advertised rate of 6.7/kWh. When I got my first bill, I was being charged more than 16/kWh. I called customer service and found out that there was hidden stipulations that if I didn't use at least 1,000 kW, I would be charged an extra $95 per billing period, resulting in a much higher rate than the one I was quoted. They get around this but calling it a "discount". It's fraudulent, plain and simple. I immediately canceled and was charge another $125 cancellation fee, totaling over $300 for one month of service at less than 900 kWh of usage.
By the way, I filed a complaint with the BBB and Pulse Power does not deny any of these facts. They proudly restated everything I stated as if it made complete sense to practice business this way.

They said I had a returned check which I have never had. I have $18000 dollars in my bank account. My advise to you is look for another power company. I just switched to Reliant.

Well i recently swithced to Pulse Power from another provider, apparently this was a huge mistake because for a few months everything went okay, i mean they send out weekly usage reports (which is nice) then last Friday in my E-mail was a note from Pulse Power that my Sept. bill was available for me to view, well my August bill was 222.37 @ a reading of 991.36 now all during the month everything was fine up to that point and the bill that i am looking at right now is 167,615.09 @ a reading of 901510.00 this is totally wrong, i should never have been billed for that amount it is 909.36 times greater than my August bill it would take me 82.6 years to use that much energy, i can't wait to get rid of Pulse Power!

My contract was expiring with another company so I decided to shop around. I was concerned about my budget because my son was in college and my husband was recovery from a surgery. I found pulse power online and I signed up for their fixed rate plan. I didn't pay that much attention to the billing the first few months but I discovered that I was being charged double. I tried to talk with customer service about switching plans and they said they couldn't help me. I wrote an email to their operations department and they said that they couldn't help me. My advise is "do not waste your time with this company" they will not help you when you need real customer service.

Its a scam, in my opinion. They offer a low rate if over a 1000 kWh. Im always over 1000, but when the billing cycle is cut short from 32 days to 16, I, of course, didnt meet it. I understand the electric provider schedules the meter readings; however, it is only right and fair if Im only a new customer for 16 days out of the 32, they would adjust or prorate accordingly what the required usage would be. However, when I tried to understand why they will not do this, it is because its not their business model. Wow, is all I can say about their rates and customer service. $150 for two weeks and kWh Used under 850. Customer service is not good either, they are obviously reading from a script. And the contract does not state anything that they will not adjust the bill of billing cycle cut short.

I am severely disappointed with Pulse Power and how I was billed for my first bill. I was to receive a $95 discount when I go over 1000 kw/h which would effectively lower my rate to 6.1 cents per kw/h up to 2000 kw/h. They billed me for 15 days and I had only used 724 kw/h thus not letting me receive the discount. So essentially, I am being charged roughly the same amount for two weeks of service as I normally would for a full month of service.

Customer Service was unable to help me and seemed to not care. Had I known that I would be charged in this manner, I would have never signed up with them. Also because I signed a year contract, I believe they will do this again for the last two weeks of my contract. This seems to me a very unfair business practice, and the fact that would not work with me makes me really upset, and I feel scammed.

Do yourself a favor and seek out a plan with another provider.

I pay my utility bills on time. I processed pmt on 07/02/20 from my bank/they inturn paid on 07/09 (ACH), it was due 07/10. I thought all was fine! On 7/16, I get a disconnect notice. I call Pulse Power, after waiting for a very long time, a Customer service person comes on and "checks" and reminds me that it takes 10-14 days for payment to get to them. I repeated that my bank had paid. Pulse Power repeated it takes 10-14 days. I asked who has my money then? The bank said they already paid. Then on 7/23 we get disconnected. I called Pulse Power again, waited a long time and was reminded they didn't have my payment. I was fuming by then! I again paid the same bill from my credit card to get electricity, being summer temperatures get from 90-110F. Then bank payment got to them they charge me a late fee, disconnection fee and a reconnection fee. Oh, and nothing done by Utility Commission when I reported this.....I changed companies.....now they want an early termination fee of $640.00 ($20 per every month of contract breaching)....I was quoted $125.00 by phone......Apparently, I didn't "hear" the fine print!

I switched to PulsePower in May 2020, to the Texas Saver 12 plan (5.9 cents per kwh) at 1000 kwh. Received the first bill, and it was 11.9 cents per kwh. There is no indication on their web site, OR, any email communication received from them noting the rate I signed up for.

Their comment was a hard "you must have signed up for 11.9 cents per kwh. Who in their right freaking mind would sign up for that if the advertised price is less than 9 cents. This company is really pissed me off and appears to have done a bait & switch. I am looking for another company and will break the damn contract when I find one.

EFL clearly states @2000 kWh at $0.092. It also clearly states that for "free" usage, I will be still charged TDU fees. As we have "free" hours, the EFL clearly states that the $0.092 rate was based on 40% usage being "free". Upon receiving 1st bill, I noticed that the average bill was at $0.106 per kWh and I am well above 2000 kWh; however, I fall into the 60/40 ratio. When speaking to the rep, he got to the $0.106 per kWh much like me. Then he came back and said to get to the $0.092 rate, Pulse assumes that I am not being charged anything during the free hours even though the EFL clearly states I will be charged. I did tell the rep that he sounded very slim shady. He then offered to transfer me to a manager who may be able to get a new rate. After being on hold another 30 minutes, I hung up. My total time on the phone was 2 hours. My guess there are many Pulse customers being charged more than the reported EFL.

Customer service for this company is a complete joke. Most of the time you'll wait a hour and a half for the call to be disconnected or it'll say your next in line for a hour. Don't even attempt to speak to a manager it's nearly impossible! You may wait a hour before your transferred to a voicemail that says it's after hours at 10 a.m. I've been waiting for a manager to call me back for 3 days. I've sent countless emails it's ridiculous! When you do get a customer rep look forward to receiving incorrect information. The deferment plan is a joke they don't care about there customers. So go to reliant or even constellation could be a better option. This energy company is fairly new and they still have a lot of work to do as far as customer service, operations and company policies are concerned.

When I finally did, they said they put a request through to ONCOR and it was rejected. I asked why I was not contacted and they had no response. So an entire month went by and I thought I had new service and no one bothered to contact me. They said it was my problem and I had to call the power company. I actually did call ONCOR and they said Pulse Power never made a request for my address! The level of ineptitude here is appalling. The customer service is useless. Never received call back. Sent text and emails trying to clarify. No response. Paid previous supplier $200 to not get disconnected from power. Continue trying to get information from Pulse Power, no response. Finally out of desperation signed with another supplier. Next day finally got a call from Pulse Power, because they had got cancellation. They told me I could not discontinue service. Explained I could not work with company that ignored NEW customer. Now they are billing me almost $1K in cancellation fees. I will probably have to pay. Public Utility Commission sided with Pulse Power. These people treat you like something on bottom of their shoe. Come to find out the left the other service on , so charged me for 2 diff apartment numbers. I called to have that corrected with the correct information however come to find out the representative input the wrong address. After getting that correct about a month later I receive and email that my power is being disconnected and I owe $597 for earlier termination fee. I never cancelled my services or chose to leave the company. The person I spoke with said it would be handled by next bill date and I just need to make my regular payment. Well when the bill come it still reflects $597 and I call to find out. Representative doesnt know why at first, which accounts should be notated of conversation. Finally explain to him the issue, he states it will be corrected but I have to pay $197 to get my service back on for monthly payment and reinstatement fee. I explain i shouldnt have to pay that since i didnt cancel in the first place. I request to speak with a supervisor however he hangs up the call. I call back with the same issue, I explain what happen, he says it will be fixed and check next bill fast forward my power just went out, I call to find out and again they say its cause I have terminated my services. I explain at this point I havent termed my services, in error you guys termed my services. He proceeds to tell me that I have to still pay the $597. So I ask for a supervisor by the name of Andrew. I explained the situation again. He proceeds to tell me to send in proof of residency and advised 24-48 hrs to handle and that I have to enroll again, run my credit again and take time by sitting on hold with the customer support that's keeps repeating I have 16minutes to wait and it's already been 30 minutes. I must start off my saying if you are thinking about using this provider DONT!!!! RUN for the hills, this has been the worst provider Ive had in regards to any consumer goods Ive received. Ive only been with this company since Mar 3 of this YEAR, Ive still have yet to recieve a bill and when I called in to inquire I was advised by a rep that didnt seem knowledgeable AT ALL, that my meter had not been read so a bill had not generated for my service address. Not even 24hrs later my service was disconnected . I called in to see why and I was disconnected on twice, talked over multiple times, all to be xfrred to a supervisor who stated my services were disconnected due to fraud, at this point Im so lost as to what fraud of electricity even is that I laugh ( in my mind this has to be a joke) especially since I had spoken to them not even 24hrs before. The supervisor went on to tell me they had called and spoke with in the 24th from there enrollment department and I hung up on them. ALL OF WHICH IS A COMPLETE LIE, and if this was the case why not inquire about an questions youll had when I talked to the rep the day before, Ive sent them the information they requested for this SO CALLED FRAUD, but only in attempt to get out of this BS contract so Im not assessed their termination fee. THIS COMPANY OS NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE!!!! Their customer service is the worst and its just not a COMPANY YOU FEEL GOOD GIVING YOUR MONEY TO , ITS A HUGHHHHH NO FOR ME!

Response was quick and easy. Once u are accepted the process doesn't take long to connect, just set a date and your all set. I would also like to point out that the rates are fairly low & easily maintained to keep your monthly payments affordable.

If I could give this company NO STARS or less that is what I would have done. Worst customer service EVER! I was laid off last Friday Feb.28,2020, and called to see if they could assist me in my hardship.WHAT A JOKE!! After being transferred many times over, put on an endless hold each time, transferred to an answering machine, got disconnected and in between spoke to several representatives that couldn't help me, they offered to waive my early termination fees as long as I signed up for another long term plan at a fixed rate and was then told that I would be better off with the current rate. HA!! I was also told that if I couldn't make one of my payments they would accept 50% and carry the rest in installments. What kind of assistance is that!? it just means that the bills would keep getting inflated with each month and I would end up getting my lights cut off in any case. Hmmmm What a great way to take care of your customers, don't you think? I don't even know if I will be in the same home. Which in that case they would be more than happy to move with me. I told the representative that I would probably end up selling my home and moving in with one of my kids,. That means, so here we go again with the early termination fees. I hope that those reading this review will think many times over before making the mistake, that I did, to sign up for their services. Life is unpredictable. If Pulse Power gets to read this review, try helping your customers with true Customer SUPPORT when they need you the most instead of getting a bad review that prospective customers will read and not sign up for your services, HENCE losing customers. I hope this helps those thinking about signing up with Pulse Power. If I knew then what I know now, I'd run the other way.

I attempted to purchase a new contract with Pulse Power.Because I am over 65 and have paid my bills regularly, I was eligible to have a deposit waived.I provided them the information six days ago.Pulse Power said they would get back to me within 48 hours. They got back to me in six days.Because my previous contract expired yesterday, yesterday I purchased from another supplier.Today Pulse Power told me I was their customer.I called Pulse Power and was told that the only way I could cancel was online. I canceled online.Later in the day I got another email from Pulse Power that said I was their customer. I again canceled online. The other supplier that I purchased from yesterday gave me a notice tonight that my electricity would be cut off because I had a different supplier!Pulse Power Failed to get back with me In the promised time. This resulted in my having to make a purchase from another supplier. Now I may have my electricity cut off because of all of these changes.Pulse Power Should not be allowed to continue to provide services if they are dishonest about their response time. This has caused me great difficulty. It may also result in a loss of electric service. This is through no fault of mine!

It was very easy to compare and shop through 'Texas Electricity Ratings'. However, as most of the electricity providers offer 'Contract buying'. I was not offered and had to pay out of my pocket for the previous contract.

This place is horrible, has THE WORST customer service reps, and they have ZERO flexibility with payment arrangements.
Every representative I have spoken to has the worst attitude, and treat you like dirt... after waiting AN HOUR to speak to someone. Go with a bigger, more reputable company, even if the rates are higher... you'll save yourself the headache.

This Company needs to get it together. I thought I would be getting better rates than Reliant. I wish I never changed providers. Their online usage tracking is meaningless and cryptic. I never get my weekly usage e-mails as promised. It is like they don't want you to take advantage of the discount for using 1000kwhs. When I transferred my electric, I was told their was no charge. I was sent a bill for 833 dollars. When I called to clear up the matter, I was put on hold for an hour. No apology was forth- coming for their mistake. I am very dissatisfied with this company but signed a lengthy contract with a huge cancellation fee. Regrets!

I have been with pulse energy for 6 months after switching from Gexa and it was the biggest mistake . Every time I call to the customer service line , its always 10 min plus hold time. They never will give you a payment extension . The weekly consumption report they promise to provide you via email only comes now and then never consistent . I pulse energy poor in customer service , customer satisfaction and poor flexibility in payment arrangements.

DO NOT SWITCH TO PULSE POWER!! Received confirmation the electric would be on today. Previous company turned power off today and so when the power went off I called in at 10:46 a.m. and was told it should be on shortly. I was told my info had been submitted to oncor and they just needed to turn it on. I ran errands and returned to no electric still at 2. Called oncor and they stated they did not have an order. I called pulse power and found out they closed my account for fraud WITHOUT ANY NOTICE. They told me to email a copy of my Id and lease. I did that and have called every hour since, STILL NO POWER. I have explained my situation over and over, I have spoken to numerous supervisors and all state they are just waiting on a reply. The last individual I spoke with told me that all the supervisors had left for the day and nothing further had been done with my account since I sent the documents. She stated everyone was clocking out and leaving so no supervisor was available to speak with me. She informed me that customer service is outsourced to a call center and they dont have any way to contact the other departments. She apologized for the unconvinced but nothing can be done. IT IS BELOW FREEZING AND MY DAUGHTER AND I ARE LEFT WITHOUT POWER. Update: called this morning and was told they still do not have a response but it should be sometime today. We have now been without power for 24 hrs.
